GERBER® PURE™ Water

Pregnancy Birth Supported Sitter Sitter Crawler Toddler Preschooler
Pure Water

GERBER PURE Water is made for mixing, with minerals added for taste. Because GERBER PURE undergoes an extensive, multi-step process to ensure consistent purity and quality, you can be sure that it is clean water, pure and simple*. Specially designed for infants, GERBER PURE is just right for mixing with infant formula or cereal. Unlike the NURSERY® Water brand, GERBER PURE is a fluoride free choice—because babies less than 6 months don’t need fluoride.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), babies do not require fluoride during the first 6 months. After 6 months, pediatricians may prescribe a fluoride supplement depending on the source of water in baby’s diet1. According to the American Dental Association (ADA), excess fluoride can lead to enamel fluorosis (may affect appearance of teeth before eruption through the gums). Low levels of fluoride in water alone may not lead to fluorosis, but combined with other fluoride sources may be too much2. Talk to your doctor about the sources of fluoride in your baby’s diet.

GERBER PURE is bottled specifically for Gerber Products Company, Florham Park, NJ by Nestlé Waters North America Inc., in Breinigsville, PA, Dallas, TX, Ontario, CA, Stanwood, MI, and Zephyrhills, FL using the following water sources: deep protected well, Breinigsville, PA; public water supply, Dallas, TX; deep protected well, Ontario, CA; deep protected wells, Stanwood, MI; and/or public water supply, Zephyrhills, FL.

GERBER PURE is not sponsored or endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics or the American Dental Association.
