I'm carrying low. Does that mean my baby is a boy or a girl?

This is one of the many myths about pregnancy.

Although many people think the way you carry a baby indicates its sex, this isn’t true. Some women—like those with short torsos—just naturally carry high or wide, while their taller sisters, who often carry low, hardly look pregnant at all.

If you’re eager to discover the sex of your baby, talk with your doctor about having an ultrasound, which is a scientific, rather than anecdotal, method of determination.
