Quick energy boosters

Quick energy boosters

If you're feeling fatigued, don’t turn to caffeine-packed energy drinks. Try these simple (caffeine-free) suggestions.

  • Eat breakfast. First thing in the morning, life is really hectic. Yet this is the time when your energy reserves are at their lowest. A quick bowl of whole-grain cereal with milk or a high-fiber, high-protein cereal bar will give you the energy you need for a busy day.
  • Get Moving. Whether it's biking, walking, or playing "catch me" with your toddler, being physically active can reinvigorate your mind and body.
  • Take a mini nap. When your little one is napping, lie down too. If you can't sleep, at least put your feet up, close your eyes, and visualize something beautiful and relaxing for a few minutes. A short nap will leave you feeling refreshed.
