Feeding signals

As your little one’s motor skills develop, they’ll help guide her through her solid-food journey. Look for these telltale signs:

“I want that!”

When your baby sees something she wants, she’ll reach out for it and try to take it.

“Spoon, please”

During your feeding time together, your baby will try to grab objects, like spoons, and attempt to place them into her mouth. But getting that spoon to her mouth takes practice, so wait a little before placing food on it.

“Check this out!”

When your baby can hold things in her hand, she’ll be fascinated by the textures and shapes. She’ll even want to mush her cereal in her hands.
