A Day In a Preschooler's Diet

Breakfast

  • ⅓ cup Orange juice
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz) Plain or vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • ¼ cup Gerber® Hearty Bits Multigrain Cereal — Banana Apple Strawberry
  • ¼ cup, halves Strawberries, cut to bite sized pieces

Mid-morning snack

Lunch

  • ¼ cup low-fat milk (1%)
  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread, toasted
  • ⅓ cup, pureed Avocado, peeled and cut to bite size pieces
  • 2 Gerber® Arrowroot Cookies

Afternoon snack

  • ½ cup slices Carrots, soft cooked and cut to ¼" dice
  • 3/4 tablespoon Ranch dressing

Dinner

  • ⅓ cup, chopped Broccoli, soft cooked cut to bite size pieces
  • ¼ cup Spaghetti, whole-wheat, cooked, cut to bite size pieces
  • 2 tsp. Canola oil
  • ½ cup low-fat milk (1%)
  • ½ cup black beans, cooked and mashed
