

We’re loving these muffins as a nutritious breakfast treat or afternoon snack for babies and parents! Make sure to cut and serve according to your little one’s age and stage.

Ingredients:

2 4oz Gerber 2nd Foods Natural for Baby Banana puree

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup melted unsalted butter

1 cup milk of choice
-
¾ cup Gerber Probiotic Oatmeal Banana Cereal for Baby

1 cup whole wheat flour
-
1 tsp baking powder
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
⅛ tsp salt

Optional: 1 Gerber Fruit & Yogurt pouch of your choice, for topping
Steps:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a mini muffin pan, or line with liners.

In a medium bowl, mix together the Gerber Banana puree, egg, vanilla extract, melted butter, and milk. In another medium bowl, whisk together the Gerber Probiotic Oatmeal Banana Cereal, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt.

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Add the dough to a mini muffin pan, filling each cup to the top.

Bake for 15-17 minutes. Test one of the muffins for doneness by sticking in a toothpick and seeing if it comes out clean. Cool completely, then top with Fruit & Yogurt Pouch if using.

Cut into portions appropriate for your baby’s age and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freeze in an airtight container for up to one month.
